BREAKDOWN
A long ledwall corridor composed of triangular segments crossed The River tunnel, the path took the audience from one installation to another through various elemental-themed chapters, each of these with different types of interactive videos on the floor. The whole thing followed a timeline of a few minutes where different tracking animations made with Notch and pre-rendered videos alternated, and composited to create a unique and enveloping atmosphere.
CHAPTER 1 - WATERFALL
The first chapter had a marine theme and featured a flow of particle waterfalls generated by the passage of people on the screen, with each step generating a ripple of particles that were carried away by the current, imitating the behavior of a waterfall.
CHAPTER 2 - DESERT WIND
Then came the desert chapter where the user, as he walked on the floor, generated wind flows and trails animated by vortices. The colors and style were taken from the video content previously created by the graphics team and composited in real time to create a unified effect.
CHAPTER 3 - TELEPORT
The last chapter included digital glitches as the audience passed by, with each step digital vortices were created that then reunited after a few moments, as if they were lightning bolts crossing the tunnel. Here too, everything was composited between real-time interactive effects and pre-rendered backgrounds.
