UNOLAB Design Studio recently worked with Show and Production Designer Jacopo Ricci and Notch Designer Lorenzo Venturini to create a visual representation of Annalisa’s artistic evolution for her recent performance at Forum di Milano. The team aimed to evoke the ups and downs that have marked Annalisa’s career through joy, disappointment, and the shades of melancholy in between.

The creations took shape across an expansive LED wall that functioned not merely as a display, but as an immense virtual window — a threshold into a dreamlike dimension where the boundaries between the tangible and the imagined began to blur. This surreal in-between space, hovering delicately between wakefulness and sleep, served as a canvas for a visual narrative that moved fluidly through abstraction and emotion.

Within this shifting and ethereal landscape, abstract digital forms gradually evolved and coalesced into a striking avatar of Annalisa — a symbolic representation of her present identity. This figure embodies a synthesis of futuristic vision and digital culture, yet remains grounded in minimalistic discipline, reflecting an artistic direction that is at once forward-looking, emotionally resonant, and stripped of excess.

We created video effects that blended seamlessly from song to song. We used Notch's Virtual Background feature to keep the focus on Annalisa and add precision to the visual mix. The team then prepared a Notch Block with visible parameters controllable via MIDI.
